1. Affordable Housing Scheme Launched “Light House Projects’
PM Narendra Modi has unvieled affordable housing project : by laying the foundation stones for model housing projects in six cities called the Light House Projects
The projects will be constructed at Indore, Rajkot, Chennai, Ranchi, Agartala and Lucknow, comprising about 1,000 houses at each location along with allied infrastructure facilities. The project is aimed to create afforable hoursing for all by around 2022.
He will also announce winners under Affordable Sustainable Housing Accelerators – India (ASHA-India) and give out annual awards for excellence in implementation of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Urban (PMAY-U) Mission

3. Arogya Setu app is the most installed apps with Indian Users
Arogya Setu has been conferred with Jury Choice Award fduring DigitallInidaAwards Today as the most widely used app and adoppted by 16.6 crore users.

4. Covid-19 Vaccine trial to start from Today
Covid-19 vaccine 2nd dry run started. Mass rollout for the vaccine is completed in 4 states. Andhra Pradesh, Gujrat, Assam and Punjab Completed. National Helpline no for covid-19 is 1075 and state is 104 to address queries and provide routine support.

7. CBSE Board exam Dates
CBSE Class 10, 12 Board exams 2021 dates announced: CBSE Class 10, 12 board exams 2021 will be held from Many 4 to June 10 and the results of the exams will be released on July 15.
8. On New year eve, zomato and Swiggy see 4,000 orders per minute
Most people turned to food delivery apps Zomato and Swiggy to sort their house party menu but the surge in orders got a little out of hand for the companies. COVID-19 forced many people to stay at home for New Year’s eve but that didn’t hamper their celebrations. Zomato struggled to deliver orders as the order per minute count cross 3200 on Thursday evening. As per the data shared by the company, users ordered Biryanis and Pizzas in large numbers.
Yesterday, we clocked 60% more GMV than last new year’s eve. That’s GMV of ₹75 crores in one single day, with peak orders per minute (OPM) rate of 4,254.
