Many parts of the eastern and western suburbs, including Mumbai, have lost power. Best, Adani, MSEB areas have no electricity. The power outage has also affected local transport.
Local services on the Central Railway and Western Railway have been disrupted and passengers are stranded. Also the signal system went off. The Kurla to CST local was disrupted due to power outage. Passengers have been stuck for half an hour.
Apart from this, the patients in the hospital are also suffering due to power outage.
Circuit 1 maintenance-repair was started at 400 KV Kalwa Padgha GIS Center of Mahatrans. This time all the load was on circuit 2. However, a sudden technical failure in Circuit 2 has affected most parts of Mumbai and Thane. Mumbai is in darkness due to power outages in large parts of the city.

Students who can take the exam on mobile should give the paper otherwise the paper will be taken later. The university will inform about new exams date soon.
