5 lakh relief to flood victims by avoiding birthday expenses; Dombivli couple’s initiative

In the last few days, floods in many places including Konkan have claimed many lives. Many social organizations and sensitive people are standing shoulder to shoulder with the government to wipe the tears of the flood victims. The Patil couple from Dombivli have also shown social commitment and sensitivity by avoiding birthday expenses and donating Rs 5 lakh to the flood victims.
Incessant torrential rains for the past few days had flooded Konkan and western Maharashtra. As a result, the entire life of the people of Tikkad has come to a standstill and help is pouring in from all sides to rebuild the world. Against this backdrop, Vinayak and Sujata Patil, a couple from Dombivli, have donated the same amount to help the flood victims. We were going to celebrate Sujata Patil’s 50th birthday with great fanfare. But given the current situation, we do not feel right to do so. Vinayak Patil said that he has decided to help the flood victims by avoiding all these expenses. That’s why the Patil couple today handed over a check of Rs 5 lakh to Rajesh More, the Mayor of Shiv Sena Dombivli.
Meanwhile, the Shiv Sena Dombivli central branch will prepare 10,000 meal kits and send them to the flood victims, city chief Rajesh More said. Also, the social commitment shown by the Patil couple in Dombivali needs to be shown by others today and the appreciation of the Patil couple should be less.
