After the ‘C’ ward area officer of Kalyan Dombivali Municipal Corporation was caught taking bribe, KDMC Commissioner Dr. Vijay Suryavanshi has transferred 7 ward area officers in a sudden case (Bribery case; Suddenly, 7 ward officers were transferred by the Municipal Commissioner). Akshay Guddhe, who has been known as a young and active officer for a short period of time, has been given the charge of the hotspot C ward area office.
Two days ago, Bhagaji Bhangre, a C ward area officer of Kalyan, and an employee were caught red-handed taking bribe. The two were caught by Thane Anti-Corruption while accepting a bribe of Rs 15,000 for not taking action in the construction case. This bribery case had once again started a negative discussion of KDMC. Therefore, Municipal Commissioner Dr. Vijay Suryavanshi has abruptly replaced 7 out of 10 KDMC ward area officers, conveying the message that bribery will not be tolerated in any form.
