Kalyan 14 August:
Currently, the festive season has started and Maharashtra Bullion Subarnakal Mahamandal (MSMM) has asked KDMC to allow all shops to start instead of P1-P2. KDMC Mayor Vinita Rane and Municipal Commissioner Drs. This demand has been made by giving a letter to Vijay Suryavanshi.
Due to the low number of tax collectors in the Thane Municipal Corporation area, the Municipal Corporation has taken an important decision to allow shops to continue shops seven days a week from yesterday (August 15). Against that backdrop, relief is also being sought from traders in the KDMC region. The four-month lockdown, already caused by Corona, caused huge financial losses to small shopkeepers and merchants. Pradeep Mutha, president of Sarrafa Suvarnakal Mahamandal Thane Rural, said that due to the P1-P2 rule, traders have to close their shops fortnightly in a month.
The festive season begins in August and shops are expected to be crowded for shopping. The Jewelers Association has demanded that shops be kept open throughout the day in Corona Dombivali to avoid the danger of corona. In a letter to the KDMC on behalf of the Jewelers’ Association, Mutha also assured that we will do business following all other rules including social distance.
It will soon become clear what decision the KDMC administration and the ruling party will take on it.
