A division bench comprising of Justices R D Dhanuka and Abhay Ahuja on Friday heard by way of videoconference, a plea by metropolis resident Imran Moin Khan filed by way of advocate Vivek Shukla which sought taking down of the video and preventive motion towards Faizal by completely blocking his entry to social media.
Petitioner submitted that stated Faizal, within the video, had alleged that media has been directed to focus on Muslims and defame their faith underneath the garb of coronavirus pandemic. As per the petitioner, the video shared on YouTube and Facebook additionally alleged {that a} vicious marketing campaign is led by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) within the nation to regulate Muslim inhabitants.
It was additional alleged that Faizal was upsetting and inspiring his group members to assault medical doctors from different communities.
