New Delhi: Ten contemporary groups of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) are being rushed to West Bengal with a purpose to velocity up the aid and rescue operations submit cyclone “Amphan”, officers mentioned on Saturday.

“Ten additional teams have been mobilised and are being rushed at the earliest from NDRF locations outside West Bengal. Teams are likely to reach Kolkata by late night Saturday,” an NDRF spokesperson mentioned.
A complete of 26 NDRF groups are deployed in six cyclone affected districts of West Bengal for restoration work at current and with the addition of the contemporary ones the whole variety of groups shall be 36.
