Six employees of MSEDCL’s welfare circle have been infected with the corona virus. Twelve employees have been quarantined and customers have been appealed not to rush to the MSEDCL office.
After the reading of the electricity meter starts, the customers are being given accurate and consolidated electricity bill according to the lockdown and the electricity usage for the next three months. After receiving the electricity bill, the number of customers coming to the MSEDCL office complaining that the bill is high has increased. Consumers should avoid office congestion to protect themselves from corona virus infection and avoid potential danger to MSEDCL employees, appealed Chief Engineer Dinesh Agarwal.

Chief Engineer Dinesh Agarwal has appealed to the power workers to avoid congestion in the office considering the presence of manpower and alternatively on the power supply in case of outbreak of Corona virus among the power workers.

* Preventive measures *
All the offices and electricity bill payment centers in the welfare zone are functioning with thermometers, sanitizers, masks, hand gloves and body spacing. Adherence to physical distance is being limited due to customer congestion. All offices are being disinfected, including where patients infected with the corona virus have been found.
