Dattatreya Kulkarni, who propagated and promoted the reading culture for 48 years, passed away today. His work as a reading culture made his reputation as a ‘mobile library’.
Always smiling DSK was running a mobile library in Kalyan. They have continued to do so for the last 48 years. Not only did he distribute door-to-door magazines to the citizens of the society, but he also consult the readers which magazines are worth reading.
He was very proud to be educated at the Subhedarwada School of Kalyan. He played an important role in the cultural and educational work of welfare. He was also employed in Subhedarwada Ganeshotsav, Nakshatra Katta, Marathi Sahitya Parishad Welfare Branch. Citizens in Kalyan are expressing grief over his demise.
