Dombivali 21 October:
A team of Dombivli police succeeded in catching three vehicle thieves and seized seven rickshaws and two bikes from them.
The vehicles are worth 7 lakh 30 thousand rupees and were stolen with the intention of selling the vehicles.
The three accused are Shantanu Sumedh Kale (22), Vishal Somaji Ingole (24) and Kiran Raju Bhosle (20). Rickshaw driver Raju Bhosale was caught by the Dombivli police on Saturday night.
They have stolen the rickshaw of Chorigaon resident Raju Manohar Chaudhary (42). A case was registered at Ramnagar police station on 8 October.
While searching for the accused in the case, when patrolling, the police found two mens sitting in the same rickshaw behind the Rajkamal Society in Sunilnagar. When the police detained them, then they came to know that his rickshaw was of Raju Chaudhary of Cholegaon.
The three together confessed to stealing vehicles from Dombivli, Turbhe, Koparkhairane, Vashi Sector-9, Sanpada village, Daighar, Mumbra and Manpada areas of Navi Mumbai.
