Against the backdrop of increasing prevalence of covid, free covid medical kits along with essential items were distributed to the citizens of Maharashtra Nagar and Devicha Pada wards west of Dombivli. The initiative was implemented by local people’s representatives Vaman Mhatre, Anmol Waman Mhatre, Gorakhnath Mhatre and others.
The distributed Covid Medical Kit included diagnostic equipment, 200 thermal guns, 200 oximeters, 15 thousand N95 masks, 15 thousand bags of immunity tea powder, rice and pulses and other essential items. Social activist Anmol Mhatre informed that this initiative has been implemented with the objective of ‘My family is my responsibility’ as per the initiative of the government.
Along with this initiative, hand sanitizers and 200 N95 masks were also distributed at Vishnunagar Police Station. Immunity tea was also distributed to all rickshaw pullers and rickshaw pullers in the Dombivli West station area to sanitize them and boost their immunity.
