Implement Delhi pattern by banning government loot of electricity bills – Demand for MLA Ravindra Chavan | Palava News

Kalyan 13 August:
Rising electricity bills, power shortages cause citizens to suffer and do not force us to protest. Those who used to take a bill of Rs 500 earlier, are now getting a bill of Rs 5,000. Dombivli MLA Ravindra Chavan has sought to stop this government from being looted and implement the Delhi pattern. On the issue of increased electricity bills, MLA Chavan met MSEDCL officials at the Tejashree office in Kalyan today and sought a good answer.
It is a tragedy that public representatives send letters to MSEDCL but they are not answered. We want that the role of MSEDCL, which we MERC will not do, is unfair and MSEDCL should provide immediate relief to the citizens. MLA Chavan also directed that MSEDCL should not force customers to pay their bills and not resort to bullying.

Light goes on 6 times a day in Kambalpada, Kanchangaon, Dombivli. Issues are coming up in 7 km. When you were the Minister of State, you organized everything in a ‘merry go round’ manner. But it is not being implemented. He also demanded immediate replacement of the concerned officer with a report of a power outage in the event of a gangrape with MSDCL officials.
Meanwhile, corporator Sai Shelar also discussed about the power problem facing the citizens. Simultaneously, Shashikant Kamble demanded immediate transfer of Under Engineer Officer Nitin Duphare. It was also alleged that the MSEDCL officials were committing gangsterism and federalism was going on.
Former BJP president Nandu Joshi, corporator builder Manoj Rai and others were present on the occasion.
