Kalyan – Dombivali on April 9:
In Kalyan Dombivali, on the one hand, there is a shortage of remedicivir injections, but now there is only enough stock of Kovid vaccine for one day. Therefore, the KDMC health department has expressed fears that the vaccination center will have to be closed due to Nila if the covid vaccine is not available as soon as possible.
Covishield vaccine has been made available to KDMC by the State Government. Kalyan Dombivali Municipal Corporation is currently conducting covid vaccination in 9 government and 13 private hospitals. Since the inception of vaccination, an average of 4,500 people have been vaccinated daily and around 80,000 people have been vaccinated so far. About 6,000 people were vaccinated on Wednesday and the stockpile is only two days old. It will not be possible to vaccinate from Sunday and it will not be possible to supply vaccines to private hospitals. Considering the speed of comed vaccination in Dombivali, there is only enough stock left for the next 1 day. KDMC’s Chief Medical Health Officer, Dr. K.S. Ashwini Patil has given this while talking to Palava News.
KDMC has also demanded that the government provide 7 lakh doses of vaccine so far.
