During the Corona period, doctors, medical and health workers, police personnel, cleaners as well as bank employees were included in the frontline workers category and urged to give priority to the anti-corona vaccination campaign. The country has 12 public sector banks, 22 private banks, 44 foreign banks, 56 regional rural banks, 1485 civic co-operative banks and 96,000 rural co-operative banks with more than 15 lakh employees. The Corona epidemic had an adverse effect on the economy. Despite the ban on railway and bus services, the bank employees showed up to work to revive the economy and implement various schemes. Meanwhile, some employees were affected by the corona, while others died due to the corona. Shrikant Shinde said.

In this context, if all the bank employees are given the status of frontline workers and given priority in the corona vaccination campaign, they can be thanked for the work they have done during the corona period. Shinde expressed this at the time.
