Bengaluru: The Karnataka authorities on Tuesday renewed its request to the US to arrange a visa centre in Bengaluru and promised to offer a conducive environment for contemporary investments within the state.
Deputy Chief Minister Dr CN Ashwath Narayan said this at a video convention with the US Consulate General in Chennai, Robert G Burgess.
“Nearly 70 per cent of the total number of South Indians going to the US are from Karnataka. I brought this to the notice of the Consulate General and renewed our request to set up a visa centre at Bengaluru,” Dr Narayan informed reporters later.
He additionally stated that he assured the Consulate General that the state authorities would offer a conducive environment for US industries planning to shift to the state, publish the COVID19 financial misery.
The Deputy Chief Minister stated that Information Technology, bio-technology, science and expertise departments have initiated talks with varied nations to enhance relations, publish the pandemic outbreak.
