The KDMC has continued its crackdown on people wearing masks in public places in view of the increasing number of Corona. In the last 3 days, KDMC took action against more than 600 persons and recovered more than Rs 3 lakh.
The number of corona in Kalyan Dombivli has been increasing steadily since last month. Despite repeated instructions from the government, including the KDMC, to wear masks, some citizens are still ignored. As a result, in the last few days, the KDMC administration has initiated action against such irresponsible citizens in collaboration with the local police. Appealing to citizens to wear masks or handkerchiefs in public places, Municipal Commissioner Dr. Vijay Suryavanshi has done.
