The Kalyan Dombivali Municipal Corporation has once again appointed auditors in Kovid hospitals to ensure that Kovid patients are treated at private hospitals at reasonable rates and to stop their looting. (KDMC re-appoints auditors in private Kovid hospitals in Kalyan Dombivali)
In order to provide treatment to Kovid patients at reasonable rates, auditors have been appointed by the Municipal Corporation in private Kovid hospitals to make beds available without any hassle. However, they were canceled in February due to declining patient numbers. However, in view of the increase in the number of corona patients in the municipal sector in the last few days, the corporation has appointed auditors in 26 private Kovid hospitals. They will be responsible for inspecting the bills charged while discharging patients in Kovid Hospitals as per government norms, bringing to the notice of the hospital any excessive billing and ensuring proper payment of bills to the patients.
