Kalyan / Dombivali March 15:
A delegation of traders from both the cities today called on Municipal Commissioner Dr. Manmohan Singh regarding the restrictions imposed in Kalyan Dombivali on the backdrop of increasing corona patients. Vijay met Suryavanshi. Various issues were discussed during the meeting, including a demand by the Municipal Commissioner to reconsider the decision of P1 and P2, which are a headache in Corona restrictions.
Due to the increasing number of corona patients in Kalyan Dombivali, KDMC administration has implemented for shops, hotels, bars, restaurants. However, shopkeepers are pitted against KDMC over some of the restrictions. Whether it is time to close the shops or the decision to close the shops as per P1-P2. Traders in Kalyan Dombivali are currently aggressive on both these issues. Also on Friday, KDMC’s additional commissioner had convened a meeting of the traders’ delegation. However, it turned out to be without any settlement. Therefore, KDMC Commissioner Dr. Vijay Suryavanshi had called him today to listen to the views of shopkeepers in Kalyan Dombivali. Rakesh Mutha while talking to Palava News said that we have made two important demands in which the decision of P1-P2 should be canceled and the time for opening of shops should be extended. Mutha also said that the shopkeepers-traders had suggested that all shops be closed one day a week instead of P1-P2.
Meanwhile, the traders assured Palava News that they would take a decision soon after hearing the views of the traders and take a decision on extending the time of P1P2 and shops. Rakesh Mutha, Dinesh Gaur, Bharat Mota, Dilip Kothari and various traders from Kalyan Dombivali were present on the occasion.
