In view of the increasing number of corona patients in Kalyan Dombivali, new centers are being set up by the KDMC administration to speed up vaccination. In Kalyan Dombivali, Kovid vaccination is being carried out at 18 places, out of which 6 government centers are being vaccinated free of cost and the remaining 12 private places are being vaccinated for a fee, the municipality has informed Palava News.
Kalyan Dombivali Municipal Corporation has started a campaign to vaccinate all citizens aged 45 years and above against Kovid-19 disease from today (April 1, 2021). At present, vaccination is being carried out at 6 government vaccination centers in the municipal area. In which “Shastrinnagar Hospital” Dombivali W., “Bai Rukminibai Hospital Kalyan W.,” “Savlaram Sports Complex Dombivali W.”, “Divisional Railway Hospital Kalyan W.”, “Prabodhankar Thackeray School, Netivali Kalyan W.”, and “ Art Gallery Lalchowki Kalyan P. ” Free vaccination is being provided at these 6 government centers. Palava News was informed that covid vaccination is being carried out at a cost of Rs 250 (in the next 12 private hospitals). Among these 12 private hospitals are “Baj RR Hospital Dombivli Pu.”, “AIIMS Hospital Dombivali Pu.”, “Shri Mahaganapati Hospital Titwala Pu.”, “Isha Netralaya Kalyan Pu.”, “Star City Multispeciality Hospital Kalyan Pu.”, “Nobel. Hospital Dombivali Poo. ”,“ Optlife Multispeciality Hospital Dombivli Poo. ”,“ Siddhivinayak Multispeciality and Cardiac Care Center Kalyan Poo. ”,“ SRV Mamta Hospital Dombivli Poo. ”,“ Holycross Hospital Kalyan Poo. . ” And Dr. CB Vaidya Memorial Hospital Kalyan. ” The facility of getting this vaccine is available at these 12 places for a fee of Rs. 250 / – per dose.
Apart from citizens above 45 years of age, senior citizens, health workers and front line workers are also being vaccinated here. Eligible citizens should not rush to the vaccination center, register on Arogya Setu or Cowin.gov.in and come for vaccination. Efforts are also being made by the corporation to provide covid vaccination facilities to the eligible citizens as soon as possible and the number of vaccination centers will be gradually increased in the municipal area as per the availability of vaccines.
A second dose of the Covishield vaccine after 6 weeks has been shown to be more effective in boosting the immune system, the government said. All citizens who have taken the first dose of Covishield vaccine are urged to take the second dose of Covishield vaccine 6 weeks after receiving the first dose in order to develop a more effective immune system.
