Kalyan on 30 August:
Bharatiya Janata Party Kalyan West rang the bell in front of the Gajanan Maharaj Temple. All temples in Maharashtra have been closed for the last five months. This movement was led by Narendra Pawar, state convenor and former MLA of BJP Bhatke Vimukt Aghadi.
Temples (places of worship) that were closed five months ago due to the lockout in the wake of the Corona (Kovid) epidemic are still closed. But in the state of Maharashtra, the process of relaxing the lockdown has started from June 1, 2020. According to this, the government has given permission to open liquor shops in the state. So what exactly does the government want to achieve by keeping all the temples (places of worship) closed? Bhakti Sampradaya is a civilized state with a bright tradition. Also, the livelihood of many families of the region and the economy of the region depends on the devotees who visit all the places of worship. But everything has been disrupted for the last five months due to the closure of temples (places of worship). Therefore, BJP strayed unopposed forward state convenor and former MLA Narendra Pawar demanded that all temples (places of worship) in the state should be opened permanently.
BJP OBC Morcha state secretary Anil Pandit, BJP women forward state member Priya Sharma, Bhavna Manaraja, Pratap Tumkar, Vishal Shelar, Ganesh Singer, Sada Konkin, Rohit Lambcher, Raj Khairnar and Harshal Sane were present on the occasion. The bell-ringing movement was carried out in compliance with all governmental rules of social distance.
