Maharashtra: Fire Breaks Out In Train Coach Near Nanded | Watch Video

Maharashtra News: A fire broke out in an empty luggage-cum-guard van coach near Maharashtra’s Nanded on Tuesday, the Indian Railways informed. Visuals of the blaze were published by news agency ANI. It was earlier reported by multiple news outlets that the fire had erupted in a coach of Purna-Parli passenger train.

No casualties or injuries were reported. According to the railways, the fire was extinguished promptly. Video of the incident published by ANI shows the charred interiors of the empty coach.

“Fire broke out in an empty luggage-cum-guar van coach stationed in the Nanded maintenance Yard today. The fire was completely brought under control within 30 minutes of the incident and there was no damage to any other coaches,” CPRO South Central Railways was quoted as saying by ANI.
