Maharashtra leads in foreign investment in the country. Within three months, a sum of Rs 28,828 crore has come into the state, said industries minister Uday Samant in the state council on Thursday.
He also said that Raigad district will have projects with investments worth Rs 35,000 crores. Around 200 acres of land had been acquired to develop a mango park in Ratnagiri, he said.He also said that training centres would be set up near MIDCs in the state. He also said that the training centre at Kalamboli, which was being set up with an investment of Rs 500 crore, would be the biggest centre in the country.
He also said that the Bulk Drug Park project had not left the state. Samant said that a project from the Lloyd company would be coming to Gadchiroli district. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde had decided to give the project 1,000 hectares of land, he said.
