Raut said that as guardian minister of Jalgaon, Patil purchased overpriced equipment. “I have evidence of Gulabrao Patil’s corruption. As the guardian minister and president of the district planning committee during the Corona period, he purchased goods at a high price. These included oxygen ventilators. At that time, a ventilator worth Rs 2 lakhs was purchased for Rs 15 lakh. Importantly, Chimanrao Patil, a member of the same gang (the Shinde faction of Shiv Sena), also raised questions about this corruption worth around Rs 400 crore. However, this matter is being suppressed,” he said.

In his weekly column ‘Rokhthok’ in Shiv Sena mouthpiece Saamana, Raut also said the casualties of soldiers in Pulwama, killings of sadhus in Palghar and deaths of 14 Shri Sevak (the followers of Appasaheb Dharm Adhikari) in Navi Mumbai were culpable homicides and hit out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home minister Amit Shah for being silent on Pulwama and Kharcha incidents.
“14 people lost their lives at Kharghar in Navi Mumbai. The government took these victims in the hot sun. Ex-Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Satya Pal Malik has revealed that 40 jawans were killed in the Pulwama attack in 2019 because of the government. ‘Pulwama’ deaths were also culpable homicides and the killing of three sadhus in Palghar was also homicide. So why is there different justice in all these incidents?” Raut asked.
Raut questioned if the Pulwama attack was sponsored and if a conspiracy was hatched to work the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
Raut also claimed that after former J&K governor Satyapal Malik made the revelation about the Pulwama attack, the government tried to divert the attention of the media and the public and “staged the encounter” of Atiq Ahmed.
“No difference can be made between the Palghar Sadhu murder case and the Shri Sevak murder case of Kharghar. The Pulwama massacre is on top of all these. In the Pulwama case, Satyapal Malik made a revelation, and he has become a household name now. An attempt was made to suppress Malik’s revelation on Pulwama by executing the murder of gangster Atiq Ahmed in Uttar Pradesh,” Raut said.
While speaking to the media on Sunday in Pachora, Raut also claimed that the Eknath Shinde-Devendra Fadnavis government would be there only for 15-20 days, and it would collapse in two weeks.
