Kalyan on 12 October:
Due to grid failure, two feeders KB-1 and KB-2 supplying power to Kalyan region from Tata Power have been shut down.
Power is supplied to Kalyan West from the KB-2 feeder.
In Kalyan West electricity power supply of area in Wayanagar, Parnaka, Durgadi, Gandhari Road, Adharwadi with more than 50,000 customers are disrupted . Meanwhile, the power supply from the KB-1 feeder to 90 feet road east of Tata Netiwal has disrupted power supply to around 10,000 customers.
Power supply is being provided to these power feeders through alternate feeders. So far, the supply has been resumed to 16,000 customers through alternate routes. MSEDCL has informed that except these feeders, power supply is smooth in all other places.
Updated 11:55 AM: Two feeders KB-1 and KB-2 supplying power to Kalyan city from Tata Power have been closed from 10 am to 5 pm. Power is supplied to Kalyan West from the KB-2 feeder.
Meanwhile, the power supply from the KB-1 feeder to 90 feet road east of Tata Netiwala has disrupted the power supply to around 10,000 customers. Work is underway on a war footing to start supplying power to these power feeders through alternative feeders. So far, more than fifty percent, i.e. 35,000 consumers, have been supplied by alternative routes. The power supply is smooth in all places except the above feeders.
