Chandigarh: The Punjab authorities on Thursday cancelled the Gurdaspur administration’s choice to deploy twenty-four faculty academics at 4 distilleries to watch the provision of liquor. The transfer was introduced after the opposition slammed the Congress authorities for the choice.
According to the order issued by the workplace of the Gurdaspur deputy commissioner, in view of the corona disaster, 24 academics had been to be deployed at liquor factories to control the provision of alcohol.
