Meanwhile, Tariq Anwar, in charge of Kerala, was relieved from the charges and replaced by Deepa Dasmunsi. Ramesh Chennithala was appointed as AICC in charge of Maharashtra.
Sachin Pilot has been appointed Congress General Secretary in charge of Chhattisgarh Congress.
Randeep Singh Surjewala has been appointed as general secretary of Karnataka Congress, a commune issued by party national General Secretary KC Venugopal said.
Deepa Dasmunshi has been appointed as the General Secretary of the Kerala, Lakshadweep and additional charge of Telangana Congress units. Further, GA Mir was appointed as the General Secretary of the Jharkhand party unit, with an additional charge of West Bengal.
Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, however, has no assigned post in the party as of now.
Bhawar Jitendra Singh has been given an additional charge of Madhya Pradesh. Milind Deora and Vijay Inder Singla were appointed as joint treasurers of the party.
Mohan Prakash, Bharat Singh Solanki, and Girish Chodankar are among the new AICC states in charge of the states.
Bhakt Charan Dass, Harish Chaudhary, Tariq Anwar, Rajni Patil, and Manish Chatrath were relieved as incharges. (ANI)
