Shocking: 15 small stones were laid on the railway track between Dombivli and Thakurlik

Dombivli August 28:
On one hand, there used to be incidents of stone pelting on the moving railway engine, but now a shocking pattern of 15 stones piled up one after the other on the railway tracks is being seen. The incident took place between Dombivli and Thakurli railway stations and was caused by a local motorman. According to the Railway Police, a minor has been arrested in connection with the incident.

The Karjat local left Dombivli railway station towards Kalyan at around 6 pm on Thursday. As the locomotive reached some distance from Dombivli railway station, the motorman saw stones being laid on the slow track. The motorman also stopped the train and informed the railways. Dombivli Railway Police immediately reached the spot and separated about 15 small stones kept on the track. A case was registered against unidentified persons at Dombivli Railway Police Station and police were probing who had placed the stone. Based on a tip-off and technical investigation, the police have arrested a minor in the case. Railway Police is also trying to find out who else was with him in the case.
