Social commitment by more than 50 blood donors

Currently, there is a shortage of blood everywhere due to the growing number of patients with Kovid and there is a shortage of blood in children with thalassemia. Against this backdrop, the blood donation camp jointly organized by Nirbhaya Journalists Association and Kalyan Dombivali Municipal Corporation in Kalyan Dombivali received spontaneous response. It was seen that various social organizations, municipal employees, journalists and many conscious citizens participated in it and showed their social commitment.
The second wave of Kovid has appealed to the people to come forward for ‘blood donation’ as there is a shortage of blood in the entire state. Taking note of this appeal, the blood donation camp was organized by Nirbhaya Journalist Association (Reg.) Of Kalyan Dombivali and Kalyan Dombivali Municipal Corporation. The blood was donated to the blood bank of the Rotary Club in Thane, which supplies blood to children with thalassemia.
Strictly following all the rules of Kovid, more than 55 blood donors made a social commitment. It was attended by war social organizations in Kalyan, municipal security guards, journalists and various conscious citizens. The camp was started by journalists from Kalyan Dombivali and KDMC security guards by donating blood. Municipal Commissioner Dr. Vijay Suryavanshi, Municipal Secretary Sanjay Jadhav, City Engineer Sapna Koli-Devanpalli etc. got special support for this social project.
