While students are being expelled from school for non-payment of school fees, the initiative taken by Balak Mandir in Marathi School Kalyan is being appreciated so that the studies of the students do not stop. The primary school of Balak Mandir Sanstha has set a new standard in the field of education by providing mobiles to the needy students who are deprived of online education without mobile.

Balak Mandir Sanstha is also one of the few schools providing quality education in today’s English language through Marathi medium. But Corona came and it not only changed the whole picture of the education sector, but also caused a stir. Like other areas, even then schools were started through online. However, due to the economic condition of some students such students are deprived of education without mobile phones. When the matter came to the notice of Bal Mandir School, the school appealed for financial help including giving old smartphones. And then many, many alumni of the school, including well-wishers, spontaneously answered him and filled the gap. With the help of all these funds, the school again handed over 35 new empty mobiles to the needy students and then tears of happiness came to the eyes of the parents including the teachers. The joy on the faces of the children was evident that they are now able to attend the online school. Kalpana Pawar, the headmistress of the primary school, told that the school has taken this initiative so that our students who are deprived of education, they do not get away from it and there is no harm.

JD Tadvi, Administrative Officer, KDMC Education Department, Rajesh Purohit, Coordinator, Youth and Non-stoppable Society, Ramesh Gore, President, School Committee were present on the occasion.
