Private doctors in Kalyan Dombivali have done what no other city in the country has done. During the Corona period, private doctors made a great contribution through the Welfare Doctor Army. Dombivali, Kalyan, IMA, National Integrated Medical Association, Kalyan East Medical Practitioners Association, Ayurveda Platform, Homeopathy Doctors Association, Unani and other organizations came together under one roof of Kalyan Doctor Army. MP Dr. Shinde said that the death rate here was the lowest in the entire state as these private doctors provided medical services at Kalyan Dombivali without any honorarium and especially from the first day of Kovid.
During the Kovid period, the Kovid came under control due to the support given by the Kalyan Doctor Army to the meager manpower of the Kalyan Dombivli Municipal Corporation.
