Kalyan on 19 August:
The final phase of the new Patripula, which is literally awaiting Kalyan Dombivalikar Chatka, has begun. Thane Transport Branch Deputy Commissioner of Police Amit Kale said, from today (19 August), traffic on Patripula will remain closed from 10 am to 5 am for the next 5 days.
Patripula, which is considered very important for the people of Kalyan Dombivali, has been in operation for the last 2 years. This work is now in its final stages. A large crane will be called to hold the girder of the new bridge. The crane will currently be used on the old bridge and girder will be installed. Therefore, traffic on this route will be completely closed from 10 am to 5 am. This work will continue for 5 days from 19 August to 24 August. The traffic police has appealed to close the road and use alternate routes.
Alternative methods would be
- Heavy and heavy vehicles passing through Kalyan Sheel Road have been barred from entering Ranjanoli Naka. These vehicles will pass from Ranjanoli Naka Bhiwandi to Kharegaon Tolnaka Mumbra Bypass.
- Light vehicles passing through Sheel Road have been barred from entering Durgamata (Durgadi) Chowk in Kalyan. These vehicles will go from Aadhar-Chowk-Khadakpada Chowk-Valadhuni Bridge to the desired place from Kalyan East.
- Vehicles on Kalyan Nagar Road have been barred from entering Subhash Chowk and will be diverted from Netaji Chowk towards Valdhuni Bridge.
- Vehicles from Kalyan Shilpa Road towards Patripula have been barred from entering Sukkha Naka and these vehicles will turn right from Sukkha Naka to Kalyan East. Vehicles going towards Kalyan West will depart from Kalyan Kant from Kharegaon Toll Block.
