Railway passes will be available at these 6 stations of KDMC area; Municipal corporation will set up helpdesk

Kalyan-Dombivli on August 10:
Citizens who complete 14 days with 2 doses of Kovid vaccine from August 15 will be given monthly train passes at the railway ticket counter. A separate help desk will be set up by KDMC near the ticket counter to avoid possible overcrowding during issuance of this pass and to expedite the railway pass distribution process. The employees of the Municipal Corporation will work in two shifts from 7 am to 3 pm and from 3 pm to 11 pm.

Citizens to have a copy of the COVID-19 vaccination certificate (print out) and the original Government Identity Card with photo, its photocopy (preferably Aadhar Card) will be the first to check the documents at the Corporation’s help desk. After that the staff of this support cell will sign the verification stamp with the date. After showing the attested certificate and identity card (preferably Aadhar card) at the railway ticket counter, the concerned citizens will get a monthly train pass after paying the prescribed fee for the journey.

NMC staff will be deputed at ticket counters at Titwala, Ambivali, Shahad, Kalyan, Thakurli and Dombivli railway stations to verify vaccination certificate and government identity card (Aadhaar card) with photo. The local police will be called in to control the crowd inside and outside the train to avoid crowds of citizens coming to the station for railway passes. Similarly, cooperation of Railway Police will also be taken at the railway ticket counter.

Citizens are required to carry a monthly train pass, vaccination certificate and a copy of their identity card while traveling by train. After the launch of online service of the state government for universal pass for citizens, concerned citizens will be able to get their own universal pass. It will be mandatory for such citizens to carry Railway Monthly Pass and Universal Online Pass while traveling.
