There is good news for those considering buying a new home in Kalyan-Dombivali. An important decision has been taken by the builders’ union is to impose ‘zero stamp duty’ on customers purchasing a new home in Kalyan Dombivali.
MCHI CREDAI Kalyan Dombivali unit told a press conference that customers will be able to avail the scheme till 31 October.
The state government has decided to decrease the stamp duty from 6 percent to 3 percent in order to halve the construction sector and attract more customers to buy new homes.
The MCHI Kalyan Dombivali unit has taken similar step and has decided to go with ‘zero stamp duty’ from customers, this has been announced by chairman Srikanth Shitole.
He said the decision was taken jointly by 50 eminent professionals involved in the GMCHI Kalyan Dombivali unit.
Today, Kalyan Dombivali has more than 75 construction projects underway, ranging from affordable housing to luxury homes. Shitole also said that customers will be able to avail the scheme till 31 October.
