The Indian Medical Association Kalyan, which has always maintained a social commitment through its social work, has launched a social initiative on the occasion of this year’s ‘World Women’s Day’. The small ceremony was held at IMA Hall in Kalyan in the presence of Additional Commissioner of Police Dattatraya Karale. The ceremony also honored various women who have made remarkable achievements during the Kovid period.
Anemia is a common cause of hemoglobin in women in India. Launched My Hemoglobin Diary, a pioneering initiative to eradicate this disease and create awareness among women about their own health. For this, IMA Kalyan has selected 25 needy women with anemia and has borne the cost of their complete treatment. Until the hemoglobin level in these women reaches the required level in the next 3 months, all the necessary treatment will be given to them by the expert doctors. Presented by Prashant Patil. IMA Kalyan is also implementing a program called ‘Haal A Dil’ for women doctors, through which these women doctors will be thoroughly examined by cardiologists.
Sapna Koli, Devanapalli, City Engineer, Kalyan Dombivali, spoke about the remarkable achievements made during the Kovid period. Suhasini Badekar, Dr. Dr. Pragya Tike, Head of Fortis Hospital Several private doctors, including Supriya Ameya, were honored at the occasion.
