On December 31, many tourists visit the forts of Maharashtra to celebrate the end of the year. However, in recent years, there have been reports of misconduct in various locations on this day. To raise awareness about this issue, Akhil Maharashtra Giryarohan Mahasangh has issued a list of things people should refrain from doing.
1. Tourists are advised to avoid visiting forts and other historical structures on December 31.
2. It is recommended to refrain from consuming alcohol, preparing or consuming meat, engaging in loud singing, or dancing on the forts, which are symbols of Maharashtra’s pride.
3. It is suggested to avoid visiting well-known forts in large groups to reduce the risk of accidents in crowded areas.
4. It is not advisable to set up camps or stay overnight on the forts on the night of December 31.
