His students took the first Vice President of Independent India and the second President, Dr. Sarvepalli had decided to celebrate Radhakrishnan’s birthday, but Radhakrishnan said that all teachers should be honored and hence from 1962, his birthday was celebrated on 5 September.
An online chat was organized for all the teacher brothers and sisters by the Kalyan Pre Teacher Association. Former Kalyan MLA Ganpatasekh Gaikwad participated in it and wished all the teachers. He also told the teachers that they are committed to solve the questions and problems of the teachers in the field of education. Konkan Foundation president Sanjay Mor interacted with the teachers and wished them a Happy Teacher’s Day. Also, Teachers were greeted by Gulabrao Patil, Headmaster of Samrat Ashoka School, Lalita More, Teacher of Ganesh Vidya Mandir School, Supriya Thikar, Principal of Global College, Sudhakar Thok, Sports Teacher of Adarsh School, Director of Atom Computer, Anil Atom. The event was hosted by Avinash Ombes and written by technical side Lipika Pal.
