New Delhi: A complete of 41 groups of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) has been deployed in West Bengal and Odisha to take care of any emergency scenario arising out of cyclone “Amphan”, NDRF chief SN Pradhan mentioned on Tuesday.
Addressing a press convention, Mr Pradhan mentioned cyclone “Amphan” is a second catastrophe coming within the time of already prevailing COVID-19 and it requires steady monitoring.
“A total of 41 NDRF teams including reserves are deployed in two Amphan-affected states of Odisha and West Bengal,” he mentioned.
