Time for Review on … A Movie
Dia .. .. A regional watch …. Kannada .. (Amazon Prime)

A nice love story … very gentle and mild love story that later unnecessarily complicates to a love triangle. Why unnecessary … well thats the irony to explore that makes this movie a worthy watch.
I was touched by the storyline that is so delicately etched with an attempt to paint a love story that unfortunately continues to remain a sketch … a too goody-goody kind of a simple movie … with a very humble and respectful tone maintained throughout.
The screenplay initially, might seem a bit boring or drag, as it seems to be more of a one-sided kind of a storyline most of the time. But, I guess, the presentation of this one-sided story-telling is what timidly, yet firmly, got me hooked onto watching this movie until the very end. And, wait a minute, I think this movie has no songs .. not even a background song, at least I do not recollect listening to any in the movie … By the way, let me highlight gently, a background song is different from background music.
The story revolves around this simple girl Dia in search of her love .. a conscious, introvert who knows what she wants but just never gathers up the strength to reveal what’s on her mind … and gives up so easily, but eventually when she decides and stands up for what she wants ….
“Well, this is what you need to watch for to discover wats in store for her.”
The only thing that crept my mind during my watch, was that why did anyone never bother to check with Dia before they decided on her behalf about her life..???
I guess, most of us girls and women will continue to live in this era, where we have people deciding on behalf of us – OR do we believe in owning up for our own decisions and actions, that is IFFF we are allowed to????
The star cast Deekshit, Khushi and Pruthvi …… were so good … and each one of them including Adi’s mother played their role well. A very interesting watch !!! Look out for the climax scene.
