Kalyan Dombivli Municipal Corporation bus service started to connect rural areas with the city has been closed for the last few months. KDMT has once again started the Kalyan-Malanggarh bus service. Apart from this, buses have also been started on Kalyan-Bhiwandi and Kalyan Umbarde routes.
These bus services were discontinued by the Kalyan Dombivli Municipal Corporation to prevent the increasing proliferation of Corona. But now again the Transport Department of Kalyan Dombivali Municipal Corporation has started the bus services smoothly. Farmers and workers in rural areas had to struggle hard to get to and from the city. Therefore, former BJP welfare MLA Ganpat Gaikwad demanded Commissioner Vijay Suryavanshi to start buses. MLA Gaikwad said that the Kalyan Malanggarh bus service was started accordingly. So while starting this bus service, it has instructions to strictly follow social distance and rules set by the government. Citizens have also expressed satisfaction over the resumption of this bus service.
