MUMBAI: The Maharashtra State’s CET Cell has announced the tentative dates for all entrance exams in the state for 2024-25, including for MHT-CET for engineering, pharmacy and agriculture, MBA-CETand other entrance exams. The cell plans to finally conduct these exams as per the pre-pandemic schedule. Last year, there was an attempt to conduct the exams early, but MHT-CET, which is taken by the highest numbers of candidates in the state, was scheduled in May.
This year, the CET cell will tentatively hold the MHT-CET from April 16 to April 30. The MBA entrance, too, will be held in March as per the earlier schedule. The entrance test for LLB (three years) will also be held in March (see box). The CET cell released the tentative dates for 19 exams conducted by them.
In a move to bring in more transparency state entrance exams, the CET cell had decided to release the question paper, each student’s response sheet and the official answer key ahead of all the results, from the 2024 exams.
