Rashmi has also served as the Additional Director-General of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in February 2021. She was awarded the President Police Medal for Meritorious Service in 2005.
2024 also marks the appointment of IPS officer Nina Singh from the Rajasthan cadre, as she became the first female officer to head the Central Industry Security Forces.
