Paid vaccination of pregnant women started at Vaishnavi Hospital, Kalyan

As per the instructions given by the Central Government, paid (at government rate) vaccination of pregnant women at Vaishnavi Maternity Hospital, Kalyan started from today. The initiative was launched in the presence of Kalyan West MLA Vishwanath Bhoir. Dr. Kalyan of Indian Medical Association and Vaishnavi Maternity Hospital. The vaccination is being carried out on the initiative of Chief Ashwin Kakkar.

Following the experience of the second wave of corona, any pregnant woman can register for vaccination on the Covin app after the approval given by the Union Ministry of Health, or go to the nearest vaccination center to get vaccinated. The Central Government has also issued guidelines in this regard and following all these, pregnant women will be vaccinated at the Vaishnavi Hospital Vaccination Centers in Kalyan for a fee. MLA Vishwanath Bhoir appreciated this initiative and appealed to more and more pregnant women to take advantage of it.

IMA Kalyan has taken the responsibility of vaccinating 100 pregnant women who are poor and economically disadvantaged in the society. Prashant Patil gave this time.

Pregnant women who want to get vaccinated here do not need to stand in line in any way. 50 pregnant women will be vaccinated daily at 10 am to 1 am. As it is a Vaishnavi maternity hospital, we have given priority to vaccination of pregnant women. Presented by Ashwin Kakkar.

250 slots per day for other citizens above 18 years
At the same time, 250 citizens above the age of 18 are being vaccinated every day. Presented by Ashwin Kakkar. Accredited by KDMC, it is a paid vaccination center and 200 slots per day can be booked by the citizens through the Covin (cowin.gov.in) website. These 200 slots will be opened on the Queen website every evening at 6 p.m. Tokens will be issued at the center every morning at 6 am for offline vaccination. Kakkar explained.
