MEDILYMPICS
All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. This proverb highlighted the much-awaited MediLympics which began on December 14th, with great zeal, excitement and frolicsome atmosphere.
The weekends saw families from the Mediterranea cluster enter into the spirit of the occasion in a grand way. An energizing equestrian display in indoor and outdoor games, including athletics set the tone for every event.

Young and old, in-fact 160 participants got a chance to showcase their sporting prowess and enjoy a happy, healthy dose of fresh air in the company of family and friends.
The program began with the lighting of the lamp by the senior citizens. They took the salute of the impressive March Past of the security and housekeeping members, coupled with a dance performance by young children. Every time the competitions began, the air was filled with cheering and tons of encouragement.
Members from the Medi group participated in various games and sports like badminton, volleyball, box cricket, running, 3 legged race, skipping, slow cycling, carrom, chess and mini golf.

The famous saying that, ” Winners win, winners lose, but winners play” overarched a feeling of sporting spirit in every participant. MediLympics will be concluded on the 26th of January in a grand way with its First Flag Hoisting in the premises of Mediterranea CHS followed by finals in cricket, athletic games, and the award ceremony.
