Kalyan 10 September:
A complaint has been filed against two people at Kolsewadi police station in Kalyan East for stealing a tire of a rickshaw. The case has been registered on a complaint lodged by autorickshaw driver Adil Sheikh. The complainant also stated that all this was recorded on CCTV.
Adil Sheikh, who lives in Anandwadi area of Kalyan East, has 2 rickshaws and is a park in Anandwadi area. Police has filed an FIR alleging that Mahesh Chikane and an unknown ISM were removing their rickshaw tires while going to the public Ganesh mandal at 1.30 pm on 24th of last month. Police also said that when they were asked what they were doing near their rickshaw, they fled. After that, while inspecting the rickshaw, it was found that the rear tire was partially removed and it also had a grip on it, the police complaint states.
Meanwhile, on a complaint lodged by Adil Sheikh, the coal mining police have registered a case under sections 511 and 379 of the Penal Code against both.
