Police have initiated action against the violators even as a lockout has been announced again to break the chain of Corona in Kalyan Dombivali. According to Assistant Commissioner of Police Anil Powar, 415 vehicles were seized and a fine of Rs 2.5 lakh was recovered from them.
Kalyan Dobivali Municipal Commissioner has extended the lockout till July 19 to control the number of corona patients. To create awareness about this, an announcement has been made through Peter Mobiles and Rickshaws of the police station. Besides, blockade has been done at 08 locations under 04 police stations in the Welfare Department.
Accordingly, a total of 100 cases such as 188 have been reported in the Welfare East and West regions by the Welfare Department. 415 vehicles have been seized and keys of 1,098 vehicles have been seized. Powar also said that with the help of KDMC squad a total of Rs. Action was taken under the guidance of KDMC Commissioner, Additional Commissioner of Police, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Assistant Commissioner of Police Anil Powar was informed.
