Rotary Club of Palava organised Senior Citizen Walkathon on the occassion of Valentines Day, 14th February 2021. Senior Citizens are treasure and guiding force of our generation. Their fitness is of utmost importance and to promote healthy lifestyle and fitness culture Senior Citizen Walkathon was organised. Shri. Ramnathan a senior citizen and fitness idol in Palava and Shri. Arjun Pandit – ex naval sports person were the chief guest of the event. Rtn Anwar, Mr Raghavan and Mr Arun from The Monks of Fitness have taken warm up session, they talked about how to be healthy and fit and demonstrated a few fitness exercises. Afterwards actual walkathon of 3kms from Casa Bella Ganesh temple to and fro Xperia Mall has taken place. All senior citizens very actively participated to this walkathon. In the end all senior citizen participants were felicitated with small token of appreciation. The event couldn't have been possible without active participation and support of volunteers, team Monks of Fitness, our Sponsor La Bella Saloon (Yogesh Darade) and Rotarians.
