The outrage over the removal of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s statue from one of his villages by the Karnataka government spread and today the Shiv Sena condemned the act in Kalyan. At Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Chowk in Kalyan West, angry Shiv soldiers staged violent protests against the Karnataka government.
Yeddyurappa Hi Hi, protests against the Karnataka BJP government were also loudly announced. On the one hand, in Maharashtra, the BJP government used to seek votes in the name of Shivaji Maharaj and on the other hand, removed the statues of Maharaj at night. Shiv Sena officials also indicated that the Karnataka government did not install the statue as soon as possible, but the Shiv Sena entered Karnataka and installed the statue in its own way.
