Kalyan 1 November:
The current secretary and future president of the Indian Medical Association, Drs. Prashant Patil has been selected for the IMA National Award. This award is seen as an acknowledgment of Patil’s work with KDMC during the Corona period.
The first corona patient was found in Kalyan in March and the work then started with Kalyan-Dombivli IMA continues shoulder to shoulder with KDMC even today.
During these 7 months, a large team of private doctors stood by the KDMC. This made it possible for Corona patients in Kalyan Dombivali to have treated in a very short time.
As an important link between KDMC and IMA, Drs. Prashant Patil played a key role. Keeping in account of his work, the Chief Officer of the Indian Medical Association in Delhi, Dr. Patil has been selected for the National Award.
87 doctors from across the country have been selected for this award, including 9 doctors from Maharashtra. The award will be presented at a ceremony in Delhi after Corona’s influence wanes.
The response is that we are dedicating this award to all the doctors, health workers and concerned persons who have been working against Corona in Kalyan Dombivali for the last 7 months.
