Under the smart city project, Kalyan Dombivli municipal transport, of course, KDMT has started to build a shiny ‘smart bus stop’. The two shiny bus stands erected in Kalyan West were recently inaugurated in the presence of Transport Chairman Manoj Chaudhary and Transport Manager Milind Dhat.
The Kalyan Dombivli Municipal Corporation, which started two decades ago, has started. As a result, bus stops of this service are in a very poor condition in many places in the city. Even the bus stops of some places seemed to have disappeared. However, after the inclusion of Kalyan Dombivali city in the smart city scheme, many beautification projects are being implemented here. As part of this, 150 smart bus stands of KDMT will be set up under the Smart City project, said Transport Chairman Manoj Chaudhary. The first smart bus stands at Vasant Valley and Bhavani Chowk area in Kalyan West were recently inaugurated. Transport members Sanjay Pavshe, Kalpesh Joshi, Sunil Kharuk, Swapnil Kate, Bandu Patil, Sanjay More, Dinesh Gore, local MP Shalinitai Wayle, social worker Anagha Rajendra Devalekar were present on the occasion.
Meanwhile, KDMT’s bus stops are getting shiny, but now KDMT’s derailed train is back on track and people are expecting to get good service like this smart bus stop.
