Kalyan July 13:
Kalyan former MLA Ganpat Gaikwad has demanded stern action against black market injections and pills which are effective on coronary artery patients. He also suggested that these injections be made available by the state government at low rates or through the Mahatma Phule Health Scheme.
In Thane district, especially Kalyan Dombivali, Ulhasnagar, the number of corona patients is increasing rapidly. MLA Gaikwad said that these patients are being sold at a price three to four times the original price, claiming that there was a shortage of injections and drug-injections required for these patients. MLA Ganpat Gaikwad has also demanded stern action against black marketers of these drugs as people are buying these medicines at a cheaper price to save the lives of their relatives as they are available only at certain places in Mumbai.
On one hand, due to Corona, all industries have come to a standstill and people have lost their jobs. In such a situation, MLA Gaikwad has suggested that the state government should make available these expensive medicines to the patients at low rates as it is unavoidable for the patients to buy these expensive medicines.
